My Ordinary Level (O/L) Results and Mathematics Retake Journey

 I started my O/L exams in 2020, and while I faced some challenges, I remained determined to improve where necessary. Below are my O/L results from 2020:

O/L Results - 2020

  • English: B
  • Information Technology (IT): B
  • Mathematics: W
  • Sinhala: C
  • Buddhism: S
  • History: S
  • Science: S
  • English Literature: W
  • Civics: W 

One of the biggest challenges for me was Mathematics, where I initially received a W. However, I was determined to improve my score, so I made the decision to rewrite the Mathematics exam in 2021. With extra preparation and focus, I was able to achieve a B in the retake.

This experience taught me the value of perseverance and hard work. It was rewarding to see my efforts pay off and I felt much more confident in my academic abilities moving forward.
